Rhubarb and Apple Crumble

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 200°C.

Step 2

Heat rhubarb, apple, sugar, and ¼ cup water in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer; 10min.

Step 3

Meanwhile, in a bowl, rub together FATE Mix, butter, and brown sugar with your fingertips until mixture resembles breadcrumbs (takes approx. 2min).

Step 4

Divide rhubarb, apple, and any syrup, evenly across 4 ramekins.

 

Step 5

Divide breadcrumbs evenly over top of the fruit. Bake 10min. or until golden and bubbling.

  • 1 bunch rhubarb, stems removed, cut into 3cm pieces (260g)
  • 3 medium granny smith apples, peeled, cored
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup FATE Low Protein All-Purpose Mix
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
