Preheat oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas mark 6
Divide butter, caster sugar and Fate low protein all-purpose mix equally into three separate mixing bowls.
Add 10ml of water to the first bowl, 10ml water and red food colouring to the second bowl then 10ml water and the yellow colouring to the third bowl
Knead the contents of each bowl to provide 3 separate doughs.
Set aside half of the yellow dough. Roll out the rest of the yellow dough until it is ½ cm thick and cut a trophy out with a trophy cookie cutter. Mix the trimmings back in with the yellow dough you had set aside.
Leaving the trophy to one side, divide the plain, red and yellow doughs into 8-10 randomly sized chunks.
Randomly arrange the chunks next to each other on a sheet of baking paper.
Lay another sheet of baking paper over the top and roll with a rolling pin until it is ½ cm thick. All the chunks should have merged into each other.
Cut letters and numbers out with cookie cutters so you will be able to spell out ‘World Cup 2018’.
Place the trophy, numbers and letters onto a lightly greased baking tray and cook for 20-25mins.
Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
Arrange the letters, numbers and trophy on a platter to spell out ‘World Cup 2018’ and serve!
Top Tip:
If English is not your main language, perhaps try spelling out ‘World Cup’ in your language (e.g. the French for World Cup is ‘Coupe du monde’).
Any remaining dough can be shaped into whatever shapes you want (e.g. a football or a football boot). For best results, ensure that any extra cookies are approximately the same thickness (i.e. ½ cm).
Fate low protein all-purpose mix is a food for special medical purposes and must be used under medical supervision.
