Mulled 'Wine'

Step 1

Slice the orange into circle pieces, about 1cm thick, then cut these slices into halves.

Step 2

Place the rest of the ingredients into a large saucepan, bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Ladle into mugs, add the orange slice to taste, and serve.

  • 1 Orange
  • 8 Whole cloves
  • 500ml Grape juice
  • 1tsp Golden caster sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 2 Star anise
  • 1 tsp All spice, ground
