Mevalia Burgers

Step 1

Mix the Burger Mix, water, oil, salt and pepper with a spoon to form a smooth mixture.

Step 2

Shape into a flat burger.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan and fry the burger for about 30 seconds on each side.

Step 4

Serve while hot inside low protein bread with salad, or as part of a main meal with a side of vegetables.

Top Tip:

    This burger mix provides the base for so many flavour options – try adding a little pesto or another sauce to the initial mix.  Remember to count sauces that contain protein.  Alternatively, add dried herbs and spices – Moroccan, Italian and All-Purpose spices are a great place to start. 
-    These burgers can also be “bulked up”.  Try adding grated carrot, zucchini and/or onion to the original mix.

  • 35g Mevalia Low Protein Burger Mix
  • 45ml water
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
