Kheer

Step 1

In a saucepan over a medium heat, bring the low protein rice, ProZero and cardamom to the boil.

Step 2

Reduce the heat and allow to simmer 30 minutes or until most of the ProZero has been absorbed.

Step 3

Stir in the sugar, rosewater and sultanas and cook for a further 2 minutes.

ProZero is a food for special medical purposes and must be used under medical supervision. This recipe has been specifically designed for a low protein diet. Refer to labels for allergen and other product information.

  • 100g Low protein rice
  • 400ml ProZero
  • 1 tsp Ground cardamom
  • 80g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Rosewater
  • 45g Sultanas
