Heart Shaped Pancakes

  • RECIPE MAKES: 4 pancakes

  • COOK TIME: 10 mins

A little bit of valentines day love...

step 1

Rub the Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and the butter together in a mixing bowl until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Add the Low Protein milk substitute to the mixture and whisk well.

step 3

Heat oil in a pan over a medium heat and place a ladle of the mixture in the centre of the pan.

Spread around with the bottom of the ladle so that it resembles a circle.

step 5

Cook until golden on the bottom and then flip.

step 6

Cook the other side until golden and set aside onto a plate.

step 7

Repeat steps 3-6 until all the mixture has run out.

step 8

Using the heart cutter, cut out heart shapes from the pancakes.

step 9

Serve with the raspberries, blueberries and golden syrup.

  • 20g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 20g Butter
  • 150ml Low Protein milk alternative
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 Punnet each of raspberries and blueberries
  • 2 tbsp Golden syrup
  • You will need an 8cm heart cutter
