Guacamole

Step 1

Mash avocado in a small bowl. 

Step 2

Add remaining ingredients, mix until well combined.

Serving Suggestion:

  • Serve with Low protein Mini Crackers (Vitaflo Australia) and/or cut up vegetable sticks ie; carrot, cucumber, celery, and red capsicum. 

  • This recipe has been specifically designed for a low protein diet.

 

Top Tip:

Try adding a pinch of Cayenne pepper, a few chilli flakes, or a teaspoon of sweet chilli sauce if you like your dips spicy.

Cherry tomatoes can be used instead of whole tomatoes if you prefer.

  • 1  large (300g) ripe avocado, destoned, peeled ( flesh approx. 200g)
  • 1/2 small Red onion, peeled, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime (approx. 1 Tbsp)
  • Salt, pepper, to taste 
  • 1 tsp Paprika (optional)
  • 4-5 coriander leaves, finely chopped (optional)
