Easter Brownie

  • RECIPE MAKES: 4 serves/brownies

  • COOK TIME: 35min
Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan forced 170°C. Lightly grease baking tray and line with baking paper.

 

Step 2

Mix; Fate low protein chocolate flavour cake mix, margarine and ProZero.

Step 3

Melt Vitabite in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring constantly.

Step 4

Add Vitabite to the cake mixture and mix well.

Step 5

Pour into the lined baking tin and bake for 35min.

Step 6

Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Step 7

Stir food colouring into the frosting, spoon into a piping bag. Using the rosette nozzle, pipe icing onto the brownies to resemble grass.

 

Step 8

Decorate with jellybeans or other permitted sweets, to serve cut brownie into 4 even pieces.

Equipment:

21cm x 21cm baking tray, piping bag and rosette nozzle.

  • 250g Fate low protein chocolate flavour cake mix
  • 1/4 cup Margarine, soft
  • ½ cup ProZero
  • 7 x 25g Vitabite bars
  • 1 x 400g tub Betty Crocker Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 tsp Green food colouring
  • 20 Jellybeans (or other permitted sweets)
