Creamy Mushroom Pasta

step 1

Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and cook pasta according to packet instructions.

step 2

While pasta is cooking, heat oil in a frypan on medium, add onion and cook until becoming soft.

step 3

Add garlic, stir and cook for several minutes.

step 4

Add mushrooms and cook for several minutes.

step 5

Sprinkle thyme, salt, pepper and FATE mix into mixture and gently fold through. Cook for several minutes.

step 6

Pour in low protein milk alternative and stir through. Bring to a simmer and stir gently until the mixture thickens.

step 7

Add cooked pasta, stir and serve.

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small brown onion, diced
  • 1 tsp chopped or crushed garlic
  • 120g mushrooms, sliced
  • Pinch each thyme, salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp FATE low protein all purpose mix
  • 1 cup low protein milk alternative
