Caesar Salad

  • RECIPE MAKES: 1 portion as a main, 2 portions as a side
  • PREP TIME: 20 minutes
  • COOK TIME: Cooking time: 5 minutes
Step 1

Preheat oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/gas mark 5.


Step 2

Spread the bread cubes on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 3

Arrange the lettuce, bread cubes and Violife in a bowl.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients.

Step 5

Dress the salad with the sauce, toss and serve.

  • For the Salad:
  • 2 slices Low protein bread (see recipe), chopped into cubes
  • 1 Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 60g Violife mozzarella flavour block, sliced into shards
  • For the Sauce:
  • 4 tbsp Hellman’s vegan mayo
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
