Apple and Cinnamon Fritters

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.

Step 2

Place 1 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon in a bowl and stir to combine. Set aside for serving.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, place ProZero, All Purpose Mix, baking powder, vanilla, nutmeg, and remaining sugar and cinnamon. Whisk until thoroughly combined.

Step 4

Dip each apple slice into the batter, shake off excess and place onto prepared tray. Bake 20-25 mins; until golden brown.

Step 5

Remove fritters from oven, brush with a little oil. Serve warm sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

  • 1½ cups caster sugar 
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon 
  • 1 cup ProZero  
  • 1 ¾ cups Fate All Purpose Mix  
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg 
  • 4 large apples, cored,each cut horizontally into 3 slices 
  • ¼ cup oil
